If you’re just starting out on guitar and wanting to get a foundation in the basics, learn a few chord structures etc, or maybe you have been playing a while and wanting to branch out into different styles, or you’ve been wanting to get into doing some note reading or even sitting a guitar or music theory exam? Troy Male Guitar Studio

Melbourne guitarist Troy Male was inspired to start playing guitar at age 14 due to the release of Guns ‘N’ Roses Appetite For Destruction album…

Troy completed his Music Teaching qualification at ACU before embarking on two and a half years as an orchestral guitarist for Princess Cruises, sailing to random corners of the globe during the day while backing guest entertainer singers, dancers, magicians and soloists at night. Troy had a good time working with Greg Bonham , Lorna Luft and ‘’Worlds Greatest Xylophone player’’ Ian Finkle.

Troy currently plays in wedding/corporate band Flavar. Flavar.com, and has been doing dep/session work on popular stage show Jersey Boys. He recently worked for Nova radio station during the St Kilda busking festival.

He is a self-employed guitar teacher teaching at Brentwood Secondary College.
