Toby Cope

Hi. My name is Toby Cope. I am 19 years old and I live in Atwell WA. I have always had a great love for music. From the age of 6, I began learning the piano, progressing through to grade 6 in the AMEB program. I have played the keyboard at the Mount Gambier Generations in Jazz festival in 2009 and was awarded the “Best Pianist” award out of the 45 schools in the division. At 8 I started learning the acoustic guitar and a few years later brached out to the electric guitar. I later began playing the bass guitar. At 10 I started to teach myself to play the drums. At 11 I started learning the trumpet, and later joined my high school Jazz band in which I played for two years. I thoroughly enjoy playing each and every one of these instruments, and it is this enjoyment and love of music that I would like to pass on to others through my lessons.
