Learn how to play guitar and hone your skills as a musician!

With a focus on a fun learning environment students will acquire the tools, techniques and a thorough understanding to play, read and write music.
My lessons cover a range of both practical and theoretical aspects to playing the guitar whilst identifying barriers in the students development and implementing strategies to overcome problematic areas.

About me:

I have played the guitar for 20 years and have 15+ years experience in a variety of different band situations. I write and record my own music and am currently studying a Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Music Performance at the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) in Melbourne.

Tim Chilman

Lessons are for all ages and cover rock, blues, metal, pop, funk, jazz and anything in between. Lessons are tailored to the students own goals and are very practical with the relative theory knowledge and sight reading to maximize the tools required to draw on in any given musical setting. Students will also learn how to identify barriers in their development and implement strategies to overcome problematic areas.
