Guitar lessons

One-to-one lessons in a relaxed friendly environment, at my family house. I have been teaching guitar in the Mornington area, Allans Music in the Melbourne CBD, Montsalvat, and lots of other locations pretty much continuously since 1970. I love what I do and make lessons instructive and fun.

Beginners – kids too – to advanced are welcome, including VCE Contemporary Guitar. I like to follow a student’s natural areas of interest, as with that naturally comes commitment.

I also teach guitar and drums 5 days per week at Osborne Primary school, thus I always have an up to date police check. I play gigs regularly on the weekends.

Also my first album “Steve Warner” has just been re-released by Buttercup records in Australia, and internationally by Fire Records in the UK on the Earth label. Second album “Sketches of Paradise” is having a rest. Third album has begun recording.

Guitar lessons from my family home in Mount Martha. All ages, styles and ability levels welcome.

Also group lessons start at Bentons Square Community Centre on Wednesdays. 8 × 50 minute classes from 27th April: Beginners at 6:30pm, Intermediate at 7:30pm. Cuppas available in the foyer. Nice relaxed atmosphere – Steve will play/sing a song or two in each class to demonstrate where we’re headed. $160 for the 8 week block
