Guitar Lessons

Private guitar tuition provided in Bateau Bay. One-on-one lessons. Weekly 30 minute lesson is $30 or $60 for one hour. Male teacher, over 15 years of teaching experience. Young children and adults, from beginner to advanced levels are welcome. All styles are taught including rock, blues, popular. Both practical and theory training provided. Would suit students from Central Coast area.

Simon Townsend

Simon studied guitar at The Australian Institute of Music in 1992-93 and has been playing in both original and cover bands ever since, with a focus on contemporary music. He has been teaching guitar on and off since he was a teenager, in various music schools and privately. He is also an accomplished percussionist focussing on Afro-Caribbean and Latin percussion including congas, bongos and djembe. Simon is also a qualified Audio Engineer and worked at the Sydney Opera House for 7 years before moving to the Central Coast. He currently teaches from his home studio and works as an Audio Technician at the Wyong Art House.
