Silas first learnt the piano aged seven then moved onto percussion and guitar in his high school years. He has played throughout London and Melbourne for over 20 years and has over 10 years teaching experience, including in primary schools.

Silas’ goal is to not only take the student through the standard and necessary procedures of music technique and theory but to also make the experience enjoyable and fun. To do this, he can digress off the standard path (if requested) by asking the student what they want to do, no matter how far-fetched it may seem.

Teaches from home but is willing to negotiate on local travel.
