I’m a former LA studio musician and guitar teacher with years of concert and club touring experience, and a fundamental love of guitar. Some of my former students have become very well known, some have simply discovered or renewed their passion for the instrument – I am grateful to have been able to help all of them become better players.

As a teacher, I believe in encouraging my beginning students to start playing music as soon as possible, and in helping my intermediate and more advanced students to understand what they’re doing (theory), knowing how and when to use that knowledge (practical application), and generally improving technique.
