Padraig Parkhurst is a leading Brisbane-based guitarist and composer, with an acoustic album out with the singer Lili Rose Porter on iTunes and Spotify. Padraig’s music has been performed on three continents, with performances expected soon on a fourth.

With a Masters of Music in classical guitar, Padraig can offer you expert guitar tuition for affordable prices. Padraig is centrally located with his studio in Kelvin Grove.

Lessons are tailored to the needs of the students, striving to make them fun and interesting whilst still providing a solid foundation for a lifetime of guitar playing.

Registered to take students through AMEB exams, and successfully helping students enter Young Con, lessons improve on every aspect of musicianship, including theory, aural, technique and musical expression.

Casual lessons:

$35/half hour, $70 hour. Lessons drop down to $50/hr when purchased 10 in advance.

Padraig offers specialised guitar tuition, for all styles, ages and skill levels from his private studio in Kelvin Grove. Padraig is a regular performer with over eight years teaching experience and a Masters in Classical Guitar Performance from Queensland Conservatorium.

Padraig has learnt from Pepe Romero, Ana Vidovic, Karin Schaupp and Julian Byzantine

Lessons are designed to be fun and instructive, providing a sound basis in theory, aural, technique and musical expression.
