Guitar lessons

Pablo is a professional guitar teacher. He teaches students of all ages and abilities and helps them develop their skills in electric and/or acoustic guitar through individually tailored lessons. Pablo covers all styles under the umbrella of ‘modern guitar’ meaning: jazz, rock, blues, funk, latin, bossa nova, pop and everything in between.

Pablo has 15 years experience teaching guitar at primary and secondary schools, music schools, TAFE’s and privately at his home studio. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and has recorded four albums covering a variety of key musical styles, which have allowed him to perform in the UK, South America and Australia.

He designed a guitar program that covers everything from the very basics including triads, music notation and tablature, plectrum/finger picking techniques, strumming patterns, scales and arpeggios moving into more complex chords, inversions, improvisation and chord melody techniques.

Pablo teaches at his home studio in Northcote and offers home visits depending on the student’s location. He has working with children check and can prepare students for AMEB, Trinity and ANZCA exams. Whether the student wants to follow his structured program or simply play his/her favourite songs, Pablo is able to help.
