Private Guitar Lessons

Whether you’re a total beginner or just need some motivation and guidance to keep you going, there are plenty of things for you to learn, so you can play the songs you love!
From chords to strumming patterns, finger style techniques, notes, scales, tablature reading, soloing and more.

During the lessons I hand out special prepared lesson material, so you can practice at home.

Age:
7 years and older

Lesson days / times:
Lessons are held weekly on a day/time that suits you
Private lessons run for 30 minutes.

What to bring?
An acoustic guitar.

Payment:
Private lessons (30 min/weekly) $25
Casual lesson (30 min) $30
Duo lessons (30 min/weekly) $35
Private and duo lessons are to be paid for in advance, per term. An invoice will be sent at the end of each term and needs to be paid before the start of the next lesson.
Casual lessons are to be paid in cash on the day.

Cancellation policy:
Taking guitar lessons requires a commitment from both the student and teacher. I am committed to your scheduled lesson time each week and spend time preparing special lesson material for you.
I ask of you to be on time for your lessons. Lesson cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your lesson time to be eligible for a make-up or credit lesson.
No make-up lesson or credit can be given in case of a ‘no show’.
If you decide to quit taking lessons in the middle of a term, unfortunately no refund will be issued for the remaining lessons.

Nienke Berghuis is a qualified musician / art and sound therapist, based in Ferny Grove (Brisbane) QLD. She runs a small business called Arthentic; providing music lessons, art therapy, workshops, sound healing, and entertainment to the community.
