Experienced Guitar Teacher available in Highton and Geelong

I’m an experienced guitar teacher and musician who has been playing and studying guitar for a number of years, including a bachelor of contemporary music & performance at JMC Academy in Melbourne. I specialise in, but am not limited to, fingerpicked guitar, including folk and blues on both acoustic and electric guitar. Other experience includes writing music, music theory, audio engineering, live sound mixing, audio software (Pro Tools, Ableton Live) and music business/performance playing and self managing various bands in Melbourne.

Adults and children are welcome. I teach a method of guitar that guarantees results and gets you comfortable to play with other people. I will teach you your favourite songs and techniques that you need to play guitar well, including: rhythm patterns, alternate picking, soloing, chord shapes, caged system, scales and modes, how to write your own songs, music theory, improvisation, collaborating or jamming with other musicians, and warm up exercises.

Guidance is the key in discovering your music potential! Every lesson is catered to the individual.
