Acoustic, Electric and Bass Guitar

These programs offer a range of group classes for youth and adults. Students learn the fundamentals of guitar technique, music reading and group performance. Courses are designed and available for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced players. If you would prefer more a more intense learning environment contact the MFE office to find out what individual sessions and tutors are available.

For Acoustic Guitar Tuition you will need:

• A guitar: strongly recommended is a nylon-string ‘classical’ guitar. Some younger students may need to check with the tutor about the size guitar best for them.

• A guitar footstool

For Electric Guitar and Bass Tuition you will need:

• And electric guitar or bass guitar

• A small practice amp and leads
