Meredith Connie

Suzuki Guitar and Guitar lessons

Meredith has a strong background in solo and ensemble guitar performance, music theory, composition and early childhood education, all of which she brings to her lessons. She has been teaching for over 20 years, as a guitar instructor and in general music subjects at a college level.
Suzuki guitar for instruction, for children aged three and up, pairs individual weekly lessons at a regular time with group lessons, and follows the Suzuki syllabus.
Guitar lessons for young adults and adults follow a flexible lesson plan, and can include AMEB grades or other examination programs

Meredith Connie

Meredith is a recent transplant to Melbourne, where she now teaches guitar. Originally from Australia, Meredith began her studies in guitar there, attending the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, before moving to the US to pursue guitar performance and instruction. She holds two masters degrees, a research masters in Musicology (MPhil) from the University of Sydney and a performance masters from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (MMus).

Qualifications -

• MPhil (Music Research) University of Sydney; Advanced Suzuki Accreditation (trained through the Suzuki Association of the Americas)
