Matthew Barnes is a working guitarist and music tutor based in Auchenflower, QLD. Proficient in a wide range of styles and genres, he is able to take your playing to the next level whether you’re just starting out or have been playing for years. Matthew is also highly experienced with the wider guitar family and he happily caters to students on bass, ukulele, and lap-steel as well.

Lessons are tailored to your individual needs and draw from a blend of established teaching principles and real-world experience. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Performance) from JMC Academy and regularly performs both as a soloist and in various collaborative projects. He is also Blue Card Accredited for under-18s.
