A fast and fun introduction to guitar playing, rhythm awareness, dexterity and musical creativity.
With Matt’s enthusiastic approach and by focusing on playing chords first, you will have instant enjoyment.

Group classes are held at students homes.
$20 per 40 minute lesson.
2-5 students are required per group.
(If there isn’t an existing group available, you and some friends could suggest one.)

Matt started teaching with Yamaha and performing around England in 1993. He developed his own style of teaching and started private teaching around homes and in a private school in the Midlands. By 2000 there were many accomplished piano and keyboard students, some of whom went on to perform solo or in bands around the world.

Matt moved to Perth in 2000 and started from scratch. Private home teaching slots, along with a teaching position at Wesley College in South Perth, filled very quickly.

Matt loves to tune pianos! 6 monthly tunings are recommended.

Matt also offers a fast and fun introduction to GUITAR playing, rhythm awareness, dexterity and musical creativity.

Matt also created and hosts SINGERCISE, singing groups with a very modern, casual and fun approach. Sessions are available for ages 50+ in Karrinyup and South Perth.
