Mark Batty is a full time guitar teacher and performer and has been giving lessons for over thirty years. He teaches a wide variety of styles including rock, jazz, blues, pop, fingerstyle and classical.

Private lessons are tailored to suit the needs and interests of students of all ages and abilities, with an emphasis on creativity, enjoyment and the development of good technique and musical knowledge.

Learn to play the songs you love, with confidence that you will be guided by an experienced teacher who will make sure you play correctly, right from the start. It is especially important that children have lots of fun playing the guitar, while they build a solid foundation of musical knowledge and technique

Lessons are also available in improvisation, ear training, sight reading, composition, song writing and musical theory.

Students can be prepared for AMEB examinations in Classical Guitar and Contemporary Popular Music (CPM).
