There’s a problem every budding musician encounters at some point or another: learning from someone who only thinks about music at a very high level. They’re so far removed from how they started out, that they’ve forgotten how hard it was – and find teaching beginners frustrating!
My guitar lessons are designed specifically for beginners, and I’m always happy to field any question and take the time to perfect absolute basics.

Suitable for absolute beginners up to 5 year players, or anyone who wants to refresh their guitar basics.

Hi, I’m James Vinciullo, a musician working professionally in tuition, live performance and recording, primarily as a bass player – my biggest passion!

I teach a variety of instruments, usually in a one-on-one format, from two central locations. My real world experience has been developed across eight years of performances with dozens of groups around Perth, playing all kinds of musical styles.

As a graduate of WA Academy of Performing Arts’ Bachelor of Contemporary Music I am thoroughly trained in aural skills, music theory and stylistic differences between genres. I draw upon all of these facets of music – and more! – when personally tailoring my music lessons to your needs.
