Guitar lessons will be targeted to each individual students ability and chosen style. Jonathan prefers to teach songs that the student enjoys and combines this with the theory and practical exercises that they specifically needed for the student to progress.

Jonathan’s expertise on guitar is focussed towards the blues/rock genre. He is also able to teach many more styles on acoustic or electric guitar for beginners through to advanced players. Music theory and ear training are two areas that Jonathan likes to concentrate on for those that are interested.

Jonathan has travelled the world performing to audiences as large as 30,000 as guitarist for the multi Grammy nominated band “The Newsboys”. During this time he toured with acts D.C.Talk, Petra, White Heart and many more major acts.

He has appeared on national television shows around the world and you might remember him here in Australia from his performance playing his guitar with a cordless power drill on Hey Hey It’s Saturday’s “Red Faces” segment.
