Guitar Lessons

I can teach any style of guitar that you’d wish to learn and am very focused on helping a student develop in a supportive environment. I aim to keep students involved in the lessons by encouraging them to approach challenges and new ideas in their own way. I encourage as many questions and new ideas as possible in our lessons and hope that there is a very open dialogue between students and the teacher.

John Raineri

John is a remarkable musician having played guitar for 12 years and studied music at UNSW and the Conservatorium of Music for 5 of those years. His approach to teaching is based entirely on creating a love of music and honing that through the guitar. As a teacher of an array of different experiences and genres, he is capable of teaching everything from keen beginners, to AMEB, classical, jazz improvisation, sight reading/sight singing, Solfege, music theory up to grade 8. He looks forward to teaching you in the near future
