I particularly like to help people get out of “ruts” by showing how theory can be visualised in a simple way on the neck. I give people strategies for achieving the goals they have in mind. I do not generally teach set pieces such as cover songs or famous solos, but I can show you how to approach this yourself. I am a great believer in breaking things down into easy steps. I can show you how to connect what you hear in your mind, to what comes from your guitar. Good music is heartfelt music. Fingerstyle and pick techniques are covered as required.
