Joe Macrae

Former student of Model Farms High School, graduated in 2013 with a 95 mark in Music 1 course.
The following January I started a contemporary performance degree on bass guitar at the Australian Institute of Music.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in 2016, achieving distinctions in Jazz, ensemble, improvisation, major study (bass classes), songwriting and arranging just to name a few.
Not only have I learnt great bass technique and tips though my uni course, I have also learnt many musical philosophies and approaches to learning music, all of which I want to help pass on to as many people as possible.
I am currently doing a Masters of Teaching Degree at ACU, so I am developing a sound knowledge of teaching skills and devices that ensure the lessons I provide are of the highest standard.
I am certified to work with children (WWCC)
