Guitar and bass teacher and professional recording and performing artist.

My particular passion lies in being able to help a student of any age play their favourite piece of music and particularly in helping people who are interested in unlocking their potential as an original performing artist with a view to performing professionally. I won’t be hammering you boring scales, though important. I want to give you the tools to play by ear and from the heart like all of the greats, Hendrix, Clapton, Frusciante, Django Reinhardt.

You would be learning from someone who has been playing guitar and bass now for over 20 years and has been performing professionally for over ten years in various bands and tours in the USA and Europe. I am a Mushroom Music songwriter and also run a small independent record label.

From beginners to all levels of experience:

Small groups of (3 max) — 1-hour lesson $60

or private lessons $50 per hour/ $30 per half-hour

Lessons can be done weekly or fortnightly. ( But you must plan to practice at least three times a week, 40 minutes a day!)

Songwriting and music production workshops also available.
