Jess Green

guitar and songwriting/composition

I’ve been performing and teaching professionally for 12 years, in a wide variety of settings. I’ve performed with Blues/Jazz/Rock groups such as “Jim Conway’s Big Wheel” “The catholics” “Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band” and “Petulant frenzy”, as well as this I write and record with my own groups.

I’ve taught at The Australian Institute of Music, University of Western Sydney as well as performed in educational shows for Musica Viva. I’ve also taught jazz workshops for SIMA. I’ve taught at SCEGGS S Darlinghurst & Queenwood in Mosman.

Currently I teach private guitar students regularly at Burgmann, ANU and CIT.

I’m happy to work with you on any level of guitar playing, as well as jazz theory and general songwriting/composition.
