Come to a comfortable, laid back environment to learn the basics of guitar; from how to tune a guitar, how to re-string a guitar, whatever you want to play or learn, whatever style you wish to grab hold of, theory, chords, melody, rhythm.
I recently graduated from the Elder Conservatorium receiving my Bachelor of Music.

My guitar lessons are great fun and I guarantee that you will see instant results! I love to teach a multitude of genres, so we can cover a lot of ground together as student and teacher.

I teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass-guitar and drums. All that you need to bring along is your instrument and some enthusiasm, and we will get you playing in no time!

My name is James Dawes, and I am a 21 year old Guitar/Bass/Drum instructor!

I am a skilled and experienced musician with over 4 years experience in both performance and teaching and having recently graduated form the Elder Conservatorium getting my bachelor Of Music degree. My young age and friendly nature make me a trustworthy and relatable role model for kids and teenagers- a quality about my lessons that I take great pride in. I do, however, love teaching students of all ages and skill levels! I teach both electric and acoustic guitar, bass-guitar, and drums. I can cover all styles and genres!
