Do you want to learn guitar from a professional working musician? Ian has more than 30 years experience playing as a solo performer and in bands and currently gigs each week throughout various Brisbane venues.

One-on-one lessons are designed to give students Ian’s undivided attention.

Ian is available to tutor students one-on-one … from beginner level upwards. You can learn the songs you want to play … whether it’s contemporary, classical, jazz or finger style, Ian can give you the instruction you need to play.

Ian covers all aspects of guitar playing from playing through to theory. He can also offer a restringing service and basic guitar maintenance advice.

Lessons can be conducted in Albany Creek or Ian can come to your address at any agreed time during the day or evenings (note an extra travel cost may need to be discussed).

Banjo beginner lessons are also available for 5-string bluegrass style … or beginner up to intermediate lessons for 4-string plectrum (dixieland jazz) style (does not include tenor banjo)
