Come to a comfortable, quiet, well equipped studio in Leabrook (Adelaide) for an unhurried private ‘one on one’ guitar lesson with a thoughtful and caring teacher; supplying ‘audio-visual backup’ to the important aspects of your lesson, so that you can reinforce the lesson throughout the week (meaning, you won’t forget a thing)…

Oh, and then there’s the relaxing Green Tea… if you like.

Lessons are offered in:
AMEB preparation for all grades
Repertoire playing: Classical Standards, Playing the Blues, Jazz Ballads, Folk, Classic Pop…
Improvisation: creating a ‘mood’; finding your own music…
Song accompaniment: Guitar and Voice
Ensemble : Guitar Duo, Guitar and Flute (or any other melody instrument)

Students can learn a range of musical styles including Classical, Jazz, Blues, Latin…all genres of Fingerstyle guitar: a very versatile guitar style I’m sure you’ll agree.

Guitar Impressions - Greg Cook

Greg Cook, one of Adelaide’s more accomplished guitarists, launched Guitar Impressions more than ten years ago.
In recent years he has gained valuable experience through his extensive travels throughout Asia, and has had the pleasure of enjoying many interesting and varied musical experiences.
These experiences have led him to research some of the instruments and musical styles encountered along the way. His overseas experiences have enriched and benefited his growth as a musician and guitarist; not to mention as a person.
Greg hopes to share some of this knowledge and experience through his teaching and musical performance.
