GUITAR LESSONS

Guitar lessons for children and adults, from absolute beginners to advanced players. All contemporary styles are taught, with a focus on developing great musicianship and having fun making music. Lesson content is tailored to your skill level and musical goals and professional handouts and worksheets are provided where relevant.

Guitar lessons are taught by Erica Bramham, a professional musician and music teacher with over ten years performance experience. Erica holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Victorian College of the Arts and is a highly experienced and approachable teacher.

Guitar lessons can be complemented with:

- composition / songwriting lessons

- singing, piano, bass or ukulele lessons

- music theory / aural training

- audition and entrance exam preparation (eg Monash University, Victorian College of the Arts, NMIT, Box Hill Institute, AIM, JMC Academy)

- jazz improvisation and advanced harmonic concepts

Lessons are taught from Erica’s studio in Balaclava, with some availability to travel to surrounding areas.

Erica Bramham is a professional musician, composer and music teacher with extensive experience tutoring voice, guitar, ukulele and songwriting to children and adults of all skill levels.

Since commencing her teaching practice, Erica’s Balaclava studio has expanded to include piano lessons with Nathan Liow and double and electric bass lessons with Adam Spiegl.

Erica, Nathan and Adam are all graduates from the Victorian College of the Arts with Honours degrees in jazz and improvised music. They are highly experienced teachers, and have developed a broad and professional teaching repertoire that focusses on bringing out the best in their students regardless of their skill level and musical goals.

Lessons are tailored to suit your own goals and requirements, and professional worksheets and handouts are provided where relevant.

Lessons are available in any one / combination of the following:

Lessons are taught from Erica’s Balaclava studio, close to Balaclava train station and trams. There is also some availability for teachers to travel to surrounding areas.
