Hi! I am a friendly, patient music teacher and am a registered school teacher.
I am a professional musician, performing with many Latin, Jazz and World Music bands around Melbourne each week. After years of classical piano lessons in my youth I moved into the field of pop, rock, jazz, blues and Latin. I’ve performed at the International Jazz Festival, the Bellingen Jazz & Blues festival, the Darebin music feast, the Ventana Fiesta, the National Folk festival and many more. I have toured internationally and have recorded on many CDs. I also write music for a tango ensemble.
I am able to tailor my teaching towards what you would like to learn whether it be performance, preparation for AMEB examinations, song writing, improvisation, just songs that you like or playing just for pleasure.
