Hello there!

My name is Dylan, I’m a University student and I’ve been playing guitar for over 15 years. Growing up I was lucky enough to have many different guitar teachers who taught me classical, blues, rock and pop, amongst others. I know some teachers put emphasis on theory early and that can really kill the fun of learning something new. That being said I also want to tailor my lessons to your needs, whether you’re 6 or 60 I’m sure I can get you playing some of your favourite tunes in no time!

What I can teach you: – Guitar (How can I make it make pretty sounds? How do I look after it?) – Theory (What’s a Key? What’s the circle of fifths? And how do they help me make pretty sounds) – Tablature (What is a tab and how do I read it?) – Basic Recording (Turn your computer into a studio!) – Songwriting (Inspiration, writing, structure) – Finding YOUR thing! (What you love, what sounds best when you do it.)
