Hi Everyone,

My name is Daniel and I am a 27 year old guitar teacher. I have been playing guitar since I was 18 and have been both professionally taught and self-taught.

I am able to teach most styles of guitar playing, with the preference leaning towards rock/metal/pop/acoustic etc. I was taught blues and some jazz by my high school teacher so I am able to provide you with lessons in these areas as well. I am also able to teach acoustic guitar (and finger-picking styles).

(Please note, I have not had much experience with flamenco/classical styles but I am happy to help you with what I do know. Please email me if you have any concerns.)

I have played in numerous bands, with the most recent being almost a year ago. Sadly, study and work commitments became too demanding for me to continue. I am able to help with live sound, selection of equipment, effects, recording etc. I am also able to help with equipment maintenance, buying new equipment, amplifiers/brands and settings, and selecting equipment based on your needs.

I am able to provide you with software and learning aides that will enhance your learning experience.

I have studied teaching at the University Notre Dame and currently hold a working with Children check and a National Police clearance. I am well educated, friendly and understanding. I am punctual, easy to get long with and passionate about music. I accept any students of any age – From 8 to 80!

And the best thing?! We will learn what YOU want to play! With the exception of basic foundation skills and theory, we will focus on what YOU want to play. From my previous experience, I have found that when students study and learn about what they are interested in, they progress in leaps and bounds, and this is the theory that I apply.

I would prefer to come to you for lessons if possible, as my residence does not currently accommodate for my teaching requirements. I also have equipment that we can use for the lessons, or you are welcome to use your own. Group class are fine as well but please contact me for pricing.

I am a 27 year old guitar teacher who has been playing for 7+ years and teaching for over 4+ years. I have also played piano, drums and clarinet while I was at school. Currently write/compose music for my band and for personal projects.

I have also taught professionally at a music academy for a number of years.
