My name is Dan Pennington and I am profession guitarist and musician with nearly 25 years of teaching and performance experience. I’ve taught all skill levels from seasoned pros to those who’ve never played a note in their life. As well as ages ranging from 5 to 65 and everyone in between.

I have prepared many students for ANZCA practical and theory exams, VCE music exams and tertiary entrance auditions for such universities as VCA and Melbourne Polytechnic. But if you are just looking for casual/fun lessons I offer that too!

As well as my private lessons I have also taught at the following :

• Music studios including: Paladino Dance Music & Drama school, Wendy’s music

• Primary schools including: Ivanhoe East, Yarrambat, Romsey

• Secondary Colleges including: St Albans, Werribee, Maribyrnong

I have a current “working with children” check

I am also a working musician and performer. My cover band “Brightside” performs weekly at events such as weddings, corporate events, pubs/bars and private functions. Feel free to check us out here: www.brightsideduo.com.au

LESSONS & PRICING

• LESSONS FROM MY HOME: I teach from my house in south east Reservoir. Please note that I live in an open plan unit so there is no waiting area for mums and dads. However I do live very close to 2 shopping centres so it’s a great opportunity to duck out to get the groceries while your child has a lesson!

Half hour lesson – $25
1 hour lesson – $40
