Guitar lessons

One on one guitar lessons in home studio. Parents are welcome to supervise and participate in lessons.

Bringing a fun yet dedicated approach to music lessons, it is my wish for my students to become well-rounded, knowledgeable and skilled musicians in order to achieve their goals with music. My holistic approach to teaching music includes teaching music theory, performance and ensemble skills and can involve AMEB theory and musicianship grades, and song-writing and composition skills if requested by the student.

Catherine Golden

I have a passion for music and also for passing on musical knowledge, having taught guitar and bass to children and adults since 2009. I also have twenty years experience of playing and touring in jazz, blues and folk and work as a composer/arranger. My Bachelor of Music studies focussed on both performance and composition theory and I was a finalist in the 2006 UK International Songwriting Competition.
