Carl was awarded 1st place in the prestigious National Jazz Awards in 2014 and a finalist in the James Morrison Jazz Scholarship in 2008. In 2009 he graduated from the ANU School of Music with a Bachelor of Music, and was awarded the “Peter and Lena Karmel Anniversary Award” for the most outstanding graduating music student.
He works regularly as a performing guitarist in Sydney and performs with many of Australia’s top musicians on a regular basis. He has been teaching guitar with students ranging from beginner to advanced in ability since 2004.
Carl teaches all styles of music, and all ages and levels of ability from beginner to advanced.
