Become a well-rounded musician and guitarist or develop your playing in the genre of your choice.

Having 15 years’ experience teaching in government and private primary and secondary schools as well as privately in Melbourne and New York City, I offer a method of instruction that develops musicians first and then guitarists. Students gain a thorough understanding of musical knowledge behind the techniques and pieces learnt in lessons and apply it to a variety of genres and original compositions. They are then given opportunities to rehearse and perform with Guitar Ensembles and Rock Bands in venues around Melbourne.

I have extensive knowledge of guitar exam (ANZCA) and VCE Music Performance syllabi with past students going on to study tertiary music degrees. Positions are also available for Music Production Technology using Pro Tools and Sibelius.

I direct the Little Groovin’ Guitars program in primary schools around Melbourne and currently teach at St. Columba’s College in Essendon and Sunbury Downs College.

Composer and Guitarist for Melbourne Progressive Rock band ‘Chronokarma’ and Melbourne Pop band ‘Anthem’.
