About Angus Norwood Music Studio
Angus Norwood Music Studio is a professional music teaching studio located in Croydon from the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

We offer Piano, Guitar, Bass and Singing lessons at the highest standard. Our teachers are highly qualified in music, are experienced performers and are motivating teachers.

We can teach any age or level:
Our piano, guitar and singing teachers are experienced enough to be able to teach complete beginners to guiding advanced students to the next level. We can teach students of any age.

We tailor make a course for your individual goals:
Our teachers will discuss with you your musical goals and tailor make a course suited to achieving these goals.

We can teach you how to play your favourite songs and genres of music whilst imparting a comprehensive knowledge of music theory that will allow you to understand exactly how your instrument or voice works. You will be able to play the chord progressions and melodies of your favourite songs and even learn to efficiently and effectively play them by ear!

We can teach you a structured AMEB type course where you will learn to read and play musical notation highly effectively, learn beautiful recital pieces and learn and interpret essential music theory.

Our Teaching Aims:
We aim to make our students complete and all round musicians at Angus Norwood Music Studio, aiming to make our students technically proficient and effective sight readers with the versatility, musicality and ‘ear’ of contemporary and jazz musicians. We focus on teaching flawless instrumental technique from the beginning for our piano, guitar and vocal lessons to save you years of time trying to reverse bad habits in the future.

Our Professional Piano, Guitar and Singing Teachers:
Our teachers are professional musicians who have completed music degrees or are currently studying music. Not only are our teachers highly qualified piano, guitar and singing musicians but they have the enthusiasm and pedagogical understanding to be great teachers.

Our Teaching and Recording Studio:
Our piano, guitar and singing lessons are based in our beautiful music studio located in Croydon, Melbourne. We have high class, comfortable and spacious teaching rooms which create a relaxing atmosphere to learn. Our music equipment is of high quality.
Our teaching studio is also a high quality recording studio. When you have finished working on a piece that you are truly proud of we can record and even make a video of your performance. Our equipment is of high quality with a RME Babyface Audio interface, Yamaha HS-80 Studio monitors and high quality condenser and dynamic microphones.

Angus Norwood Studio Location:
Our teaching studio is located in Croydon and it is very easy to travel to as it is just of the Eastern Freeway. Our piano, guitar and voice lessons are very accessible to you if you are coming from surrounding suburbs Ringwood, Mitcham, Vermont, Heathmont, Park Orchards, Mooroolbark, Kilsyth, Bayswater or Montrose.
