Hi i’m Andy, I’m 18 years old and have been playing guitar since I was 10 years old, I absolutely love guitar, I’m accepted into The Australian Institute Of Music studying a Bachelor in Contemporary Guitar.

I understand at first guitar can be rather fustrating at first but my philosphy is to teach my students how to have fun playing guitar first and building up from there. I can teach at all skill levels and have an open understanding of many genres, I’m also open in achieving whatever goal my students have in mind.

I have done my VCE Contemporary Music Performance Units 3/4 and can be a teacher for any students who may be studying Guitar/Music as a VCE subject. Because of my studies in Music i have a enhanced knowledge on Music Theory and am able to explain it to my students from a guitarist perspective and in a simple manner.

So overall I teach by building the skills in the area of what the student loves in guitar while exploring areas that can build valueable skill for the students.
