Focus is on developing pupil’s musical security and confidence through building solid, fluent technique along with musical literacy (sight reading normal notation as well as familiarity with tab and charts). All styles taught plus theory where desired.

Modern and early guitar, all European Lute types, theorbo, baroque lute and guitar, renaissance lute and guitar, archlute, basso-continuo, ensemble and singer accompaniment etc. Over a decade teaching all ages and skill levels from beginner to Conservatorium honours performer level.

Lute Tutor at Sydney Conservatorium 2008-2010 and Melbourne Conservatorium, Victorian College of the Arts from 2016. Flexible, inspiring and reliable tutor.

Now based in Melbourne. Modern guitar lessons also available, all types.
