Guitar Lessons

I am experienced in teaching beginners through to advanced, as well as classes and workshops, AMEB exams, VCE exams and audition preparations. My aim is to focus on the students’ goals, be it through aural, visual or kin-aesthetic teaching. I am experienced teaching many style of guitar playing, such as Jazz, Rock, Blues, R n B, Funk, Metal, African, Classical and Country. All ages welcome!

Adam Halliwell

Adam is a guitarist living in Melbourne with over 10 years of teaching/performing experience. He completed a Bachelor Degree in Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation at the VCA in 2013 and since then has dedicated his time to being a professional teacher and performer, sharing knowledge and passion with his students.
Adam currently performs with a range of bands covering many different genres, including Mildlife and Ausecuma, as well as leading my own ensemble ‘The First Baboon Civilisation Orchestra’. His duo with drummer Maria Moles has toured Japan and Europe, as well as having played extensively around Melbourne and interstate. Some performance highlights of Adams include Falls Festival, Strawberry Fields, Hopkins Creek, Melbourne International Jazz Festival and New Years Evie.
